Restaurante Alfresco, where you can eat, is within walking distance the hotel. It is next to the airport. Great place for city break in Lima.

Excellent Host, was very, very friendly and gave us a room at the 1st floor. The breakfast was (unusual for that prize) amazing with fresh juices and homemade pastries, etc.. Located in an old colonial house, very clean, quiet and reasonable prized for Miraflores, very good location. Travel agency in the same building. Possible to pay with CC (without extra charges, unusual for Peru). Possibility for Barbecue.

Location is great
Didn't like having a huge window box cut out for bathroom ventilation without actually having a window installed. Place is kind of old, need a lot of refurbishment.

The staff were fantastic.
A little noisey in the monrings with the tiled floors in most of the passage ways.

Great location. Safe and secure. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.Quiet room. Internet access.
Breakfast was very ordinary. Very hard to find this hotel, as there is a travel agency in the front part, and no visible signs for the hotel

Extremely kind staff. At least two staffers speak good English. Short walk to the great mall on the ocean. Plenty of good restaurants very close by. Neat ambiance, like a Spanish colonial mansion. Decent Peruvian breakfast with nice selection of breads, yogurts etc.
Mattresses are pretty firm, but still slept good.

They changed our hotel to Hotel Colon, so these comments and ratings are about it. They were very helpful with the change and honored the agreed upon prices with Miraflores Lodge.
These complaints are about Miraflores Lodge. They did not meet us at the airport as agreed upon. We called them from the airport and no one there spoke English. Finally a taxi driver helped us and took us to Miraflores Lodge, only to be told that we were to stay somewhere else. Very confusing and exasperating to us.

A worker named Ruben was very helpful to us in our first days in Peru. He deserves special commendation.

Staff very friendly, got offered free breakfast when I arrived very early on first day. Breakfast very good for a hotel that size.
Bed was a bit lumpy and the 'laundry service' meant one has to take their laundry to the dry cleaners around the corner.

Miraflores Lodge served our need perfectly. We were in Lima on 2 separate nights and we needed an inexpensive room rates for both. The rooms were small but filled our need. Any shortcomings in the size of the room were offset by the friendliness of the staff and their desire to accomodate our needs. For someone that needs a short stay in Lima, I highly recommend this hotel.

The owner Ruben was a lovely man. He speaks perfect English having lived in the US working in the hotel business here before moving back to Peru and opening a hotel there. He was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, shopping and getting around Lima. The breakfast room and the courtyard were lovely.
There was no clock in the room.
